A 600D ripstop shell with a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head rating, taped seams and a reinforced rainfly keep the interior dry in heavy rain. The inflatable beam structure flexes with wind gusts rather than fighting them.
The integrated 8 cm mattress sits on an insulated, ventilated floor pan. You're above mud, dust and the small things that crawl — and the panoramic windows frame the landscape from a perspective you don't get on the ground.
A condensed pack-down profile, quick-release roof mounts and a single stow bag mean the tent lives on the roof full-time. You stop where the view is, not where the campsite reservations allow.

01 · Shell
A dense 600-denier ripstop weave with a polyurethane coating on the reverse side. The weave resists tearing; the coating pushes rain to the surface and away from the seams. UV-treated to hold colour and tensile strength across multi-season exposure.
02 · Structure
Drop-stitch TPU beams replace the traditional metal and fibreglass pole skeleton. They inflate to a rigid platform, hold shape under load, and absorb wind flex without fatigue. A single 12V pump pressurises the full structure in one cycle.
03 · Floor
The floor is a rigid composite pan with an insulated honeycomb core — it cuts conduction cold from the vehicle roof, supports the mattress evenly, and provides the structural mount points that tie the tent to the crossbars.

Fitment
The Kuafo flagship mounts to standard roof crossbars between 70 cm and 95 cm apart. Most factory-fitted and aftermarket bars in this range will accept the quick-release clamps without drilling.
If your vehicle has a panoramic glass roof, confirm the dynamic load rating with the manufacturer before mounting.

Setup Walkthrough
A real-world deploy sequence, photographed at a trailhead in the late afternoon. The full cycle — mount, inflate, ladder, settle, stow — is what separates an inflatable RTT from a tent that just happens to use air.
Drop the slim cover onto the crossbars, lock the quick-release clamps, peel the cover. Two minutes with the included torque key.

The telescopic ladder clips into the side rail and adjusts to the vehicle's ride height.
Unzip, climb the ladder, drop into the mattress. The interior is sitting-height, ventilated, and quiet above the ground.

The Kuafo flagship carries a 75 kg dynamic load rating. Most factory crossbars on mid-size and full-size SUVs are rated to 75–100 kg dynamic; we recommend confirming the rating on your specific vehicle's door-jamb sticker before mounting. If you're under-rated, a heavy-duty aftermarket bar resolves it.
The kit includes a 12V electric pump with a 4 m cable and alligator clips. It runs from the vehicle's battery (or any portable 12V source) and pressurises the full beam structure in roughly three minutes. A foot-pump backup is available as an accessory if you'd rather travel without depending on the vehicle battery.
The shell is rated to 5,000 mm hydrostatic head with taped seams, the rainfly is a separate second skin, and the beam structure is wind-tunnel tested to 60 km/h gusts. In real terms: sustained rain, coastal wind, and shoulder-season temperature swings are well within the design envelope. We don't market it for storm conditions, and neither should you.
The shell fabric, beams and floor carry a 3-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Zips, the pump, and the ladder carry a 1-year warranty. Warranty claims are handled directly by the Kuafo team — the contact form on this site routes to a person, not a queue.
